Majority say PSVs still best option

IF YOU WANT to get where you’re going on time, take a ZR or a minibus.

They’re time reliable, definitely more efficient, and the drivers and conductors often go out of their way to assist with children and groceries.

Sounds like an advertisement, doesn’t it? The fact is, these are the reasons that motivate more than 60 per cent of public transport users to prefer ZRs and minibuses.

We know this because commuters told this newspaper so. We heard this from schoolchildren who have to pay $1 on these vehicles, though they can travel free on Transport Board buses. We heard it from pensioners who have to pay the $2 fare although they too can ride free on Transport Board buses, except at peak hours.
