Familiar, returning and new faces make up the list of 32 artistes who will take to the stage on July 3 at Kensington Oval in the semi-finals of the Sweet Soca and Party Monarch competitions.
Four-time Party Monarch Lil Rick, who only announced his return last Friday, is in the Party Monarch semis, while five-time Party Monarch Edwin is only in Sweet Soca, which he has never won.
While the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) has instituted new rules, five artistes still managed to get two bites of the cherry.
