FULL AND RUNNING OVER.

Two cricket World Cups will be staged in the Caribbean in the next seven years.

The West Indies will host the 2018 Under-19 competition as well as the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2022.

This was confirmed by the chief executive officer of the ICC, Dave Richardson, after a media briefing that gave an update on the weeklong ICC meeting held in Barbados.

Richardson gave the rationale for giving us the right to host the women’s event.
