Popular mega store coming

A NEW MEGA supermarket is on its way.

Popular Discounts’ fourth outlet will be located at Kendal Hill, Christ Church, and is expected to provide employment for over 100 people.

Construction of the two-storey complex has already begun and the doors are scheduled to open by mid-next year.

Popular Discounts already has two stores at Spry Street in The City and another at Spooners Hill, St Michael.

“There has been a plea from Barbadians over the past ten years for us to develop another location in various parishes across the island. However, given our very central locations within the St Michael area we saw the Kendal Hill location as ideal to service customers and potential shoppers in the southern and eastern parts of the island,” general manager Jacqueline Donovan told the SUNDAY SUN.
