RICO WALCOTT continued his superb form with six of the ten wins landed by Barbadian jockeys on the Canadian circuit over the regular three-day period last week.

The four-time champion at Northands Park earned a solitary win on Wednesday’s card astride Lovely Start, as the pair covered the six furlongs in 1:11.27. But he was at his lethal best on Friday as his skilfully booted home four winners.

He opened the card with a win aboard Hero Amor, stopping the clock at 1:10 in a six-furlong race. Walcott then claimed three consecutive races, starting astride Wild Romero going six and a half furlongs in a reasonable 1:17.36.

He and Truvi got across the finish line in 1:39.98 in a one-mile event, and the jockey followed up by piloting Count The Change home in 1:37.68 in  another one-miler.
