Silence and insult
INDUSTRY MINISTER Donville Inniss challenged a group of primary school students recently to become “deep thinkers”.
Laudable advice. Trouble is that deep thinkers ask deep questions and I am not too sure if Mr Inniss and his colleagues and the “political class” are ready to tolerate such inquiry, judging from the way they respond . . . with silence or insult.
