Mum: Help me
GIVE ME MY REFERRAL so my son can get the help he desperately needs.
This is the heartfelt cry from mother Jillian Clarke to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) as she races against time to save her three-year-old son, Jace’s, life.
Jace has had a life filled with hospital visits. He suffers from tracheoesophageal fistula – his esophagus was not properly formed so there is no connection from his mouth to his stomach.
Within days of his birth, his mother said he had surgery to remove the ill-formed esophagus. And during the recovery period his heart stopped.
