Water outages in north and south on Friday

THE BARBADOS WATER Authority (BWA) advises its valued customers that due to ongoing work in Packages A and B of its capital works programme there will be two shutdowns on Friday, July 24 which will affect the south and north of the island.

In Package A along Spencers, Christ Church the following areas will be without water between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.: Airport – Terminal 2, Wilcox Hill, Chancery Lane, Ealing Grove, Goodland, Ealing Park, Inch Marlowe, Hopewell, Sayers Court, Gibbons, Gibbons Boggs, Pegwell, Carters Gap, Atlantic Shore, Enterprise, Silver Sands and surrounding areas.

In Package B along Newcastle, St John the following areas will be without water tomorrow Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. : Conset Bay, St Marks, Fortescue, Bath, St  Margarets, Glenburnie, Foster Hall, St John; Tent Bay, Bathsheba, Joes River, St. Elizabeth, Cattlewash, East Coast Road, St Joseph and Belleplaine, Lakes, Isolation Road, Franklin Doughlin Road, Babylon, Walkers, Shorey Village, Chalky Mount, Cambridge, Bruce Vale, St Simons, Bawdens, Cane Garden, Bruce Vale, Baxters,  St Andrew.

Customers are advised to store adequate amounts of water during this time.
