‘Barred’ from UK
THE MINISTRY of Foreign Affairs is refuting accusations that Barbadians are being denied entry into the United Kingdom (UK) because of Government’s stance on homosexuality and gay marriages.
This was the reaction yesterday after watersports operator Moses Petro claimed he and other Caribbean nationals were being discriminated against after being barred from England.
In an interview with the DAILYNATION, a frustrated Petro detailed what he considered was embarrassing and derogatory treatment meted out to him and several other Caribbean citizens when they attempted to visit the UK last week.
