THE CITY of Bridgetown Credit Union is urging to public to be vigilant in light of reports of individuals and organisations falsely claiming to be partnering with COB to offer financial services.

The caution comes from chief executive officer Steve Belle.

“We wish therefore to advise our members and the general public that they should only enter into any financial agreement with representatives who are based at any of our three convenient locations.

“We further ask that should anyone outside of our organisation seek to engage someone in participating in any financial decisions on behalf of the City of Bridgetown Credit Union, this activity should be reported to us immediately,” he said.

The matter has been drawn to the attention of the Royal Barbados Police Force. (PR/NB)
