POLICE ARE promising a zero tolerance approach towards people who crash Kadooment Day bands.

And they will be going “the extra mile” to make sure the former Roberts Manufacturing Revellers Trucks, which will now be called the First Choice Sound System King Of The Road band, is well policed to prevent any rowdiness.

This was outlined by one of the force’s senior lawmen as the island gears up for four days of revelry  in the last lap celebrations  of Crop Over.

Twenty-three bands with thousands of revellers are expected to jam from the National Stadium to Spring Garden on Monday, while 47 bands of paint-splattered ecstatic merry-makers will start from three points, converging on the Spring Garden Highway, in Foreday Morning Jam starting late tonight.
