Six charged with murder in connection with teacher’s death

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and jointly charged six St Michael men with murder in relation to the August 6, 2015 shooting death of 30-year-old teacher Dwight Holder.

They are:

Ayo Prince Bascombe,24,  of Headley Land, Bank Hall;

Brandon Damon Joseph, 22, of Beckwith Street, Bridgetown;

Adrian Antonio Watts, 41, of Bank Hall;

Akeem Andrian Gittens, 19, of Belleview Gap, Station Hill;

Rasheed Jabar Gittens, 28 years of Belleview Gap, Station Hill; and

Kemal Mario Straker, 20 years of Clapham Park.

Bascombe was also charged with two counts of serious bodily harm, unlawful use of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Joseph faces charges of three counts of theft and four counts of robbery while Straker was also charged with three counts of serious bodily harm, two counts of unlawful use of a firearm, violent disorder, endangering life, robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The men are expected to appear at the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. (PR/NB)
