Lockhart says finals were competitive

APPARENTLY THE SCORES don’t tell the story.

Andre Lockhart believes the Co-operators General Insurance Premier League basketball finals were a lot more competitive than the eventual outcome suggested, even after his Pan American International Insurance Warrens blew out Orange 3 Pinelands thrice in the series.

The overseas-based pro made the comments following Thursday’s 76-60 close-out victory that gave Warrens a seemingly comfortable 3-1 series win.

“It was a very challenging series because Pinelands are a very good team as they have four national players so that’s pretty amazing, and then they have Jeremy [Gill] too and he’s really very good player,” said Lockhart.
