Kyle piles on the runs

Kyle Corbin delivered in a big way for Sagicor UWI in a big match yesterday.

As second-placed UWI came up against third-placed CounterPoint Wanderers in a key sixth round Barbados Cricket Association Elite Division match at Dayrells Road, Corbin struck an impressive unbeaten 168 that put his team in the ascendancy.

His innings was spiced with 20 fours and four sixes off 172 balls and piloted UWI to an imposing 375 for three declared.

By stumps, UWI claimed the important scalp of Kraigg Brathwaite, the season’s leading run-scorer.
