WHAT LEVEL of seniority and support do our guards at the fancy ports of entry in the north-west of this island have? Can they stand up against the wealth, power, influence or temptation of these high-end rollers – the ones who often have the wherewithal to acquire and protect the sources of their addictions and illegal trading?
Why do traffic regulations allow traffic to exit between the Simpson Motors and H&B Hardware buildings and cross over four lanes of traffic at that busy roundabout? Why is the signage from the roundabout by the bank towards the gas station so late and so insignificant?
The arrows indicating a left lane left turn to Chefette and two left turns from both the middle and right lanes to go towards UWI are very poor, with several drivers in the middle lane remaining in that lane and following the roundabout heading towards the north.
Why is the roundabout at the bottom of Shop Hill/Edge Hill different from all others, with traffic from two directions going around it and from the BRC side ignoring it and heading straight up Shop Hill/Edge Hill? At least arrows should be in place to direct drivers regarding this.
The guidance at the Combermere or National Stadium roundabout has cleared up that confusion.
