Aye, aye, mates!
These are the real unsung heroes.
Eighteen officers, donning their blue fatigues and battling extraordinary circumstances, putting their lives on the line every day for people they never met, and possibly may never see again.
But this wasn’t just a job for those sailors and officers of the HMBS Trident. This is their calling. And Barbados should thank them for it.
For the past week, the Barbados Coast Guard’s Captain David Harewood had the opportunity to stand over his crew barking orders while on a mission in Dominica.
