Banker: Good time to borrow money

NOW IS THE time to borrow money.

The banks are awash with cash and keen to lend at comparatively low rates.

“Make the most of the current favourable conditions existing in the local financial services sector to obtain financing before circumstances change and the opportunity becomes more expensive,” advised Glyne Harrison, president of the Barbados Bankers Association (BBA) and chief executive officer of First Citizens Bank (Barbados) Ltd.

Harrison was responding to the MIDWEEK NATION on the reasons for increased advertising by banks in recent weeks.
