ARTHUR “BAD WOLF” PARRIS has been on the hunt for the past five years.
He finally got some prized prey last Saturday when he won the fifth edition of the Stephen “Tinley” Brathwaite Memorial 13-card Tonk Competition at Cappy’s Bar, Marley Vale, St Philip.
Showing skill, guile and sheer class, Parris won a keenly contested final with six points against popular dominoes player Harvey Jones, who chalked up five points, and Noel “Uppie” Jordan, with three.
The trio had reached the championship round after winning their respective match-ups against the likes of Ricardo “Pirate” Alleyne, popular master of ceremonies Mac Fingall, Sherwin “Pilly” Gittens, Hubert “Buck” Straughn and Wilfred “Jumbo” Newton.
