Road fatality in St Philip

ONE MAN IS DEAD after a two-car collision this afternoon at Cane Gardens Road, St Philip, near Oldbury.

The 69-year-old deceased was driving a hired car. The other driver was a woman in her late 40s, who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

The vehicles were going in opposite directions.

Police are investigating. (JS)
