PEOPLE NEED TO BE CONGRATULATED for their work, even if behind the scenes, says Chief Executive Officer of international business conglomerate ANSA McAL.

Nicholas Mouttet said those who were success stories needed to get more recognition.

Speaking at the Caribbean Awards for Excellence book presentation at The PomMarine Hotel, Hastings Christ Church, Mouttet said it was very easy to laud celebrities, but people who did good work behind the scenes needed their time in the limelight.

The book, entitled “The Excellent Decade 2005-2015”, features Barbadian laureates James Husbands and Professor Anselm Hennis. Husbands is highlighted in 2008 for his contribution to solar energy and Hennis in 2013 for science technology.

The book was also presented to representatives of the Barbados Library Service and the Barbados Community College. (MR)
