BARBADOS DISHED OUT about $20 million in contributions to CARICOM institutions in 2014 alone.

Speaking at the official opening of the new headquarters of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) in The Pine, St Michael, yesterday evening, Prime Minister Freundel Stuart described the money as the country’s contribution toward the regional integration effort.

Included in that $20 million was approximately $6.6 million for the 13 CARICOM agencies based here, Stuart said.
