Teachers come together to talk
IT WAS Teachers’ Professional Day yesterday, and teachers across various schools used it as an opportunity to engage in a range of activities.
One such activity was the panel discussion held at the Hugh Springer Auditorium, Solidarity House, under the theme Paths To Teacher Professional Development: Training Opportunities And Challenges.
During the event, a four-member panel addressed the concerns presented by teachers on issues relating to job appointments, compensations for school-based assessments (SBAs) and health and safety.
