Over 1000 BCC students to graduate

WHEN THE BARBADOS Community College (BCC) hosts its 42nd graduation ceremony at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St Michael, on Saturday, November 7, 1 016 graduates will be conferred with various forms of certification.

These include 16 post graduate diplomas; 38 bachelor degrees; 20 post associate degree diplomas, 129 community college certificates; and 818 associate degrees in the areas of arts, science, applied arts and applied science.

No student, however, will be graduating with First Class Honours.

The ceremony, which will be held under the theme Redefining Success: Creating and Developing a Winning Mentality, starts at 5 p.m.

Former president of the University of Technology, Jamaica, and eminent scientist, Professor Errol Morrison, will deliver the feature address. (BGIS)
