War heroes remembered

HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE gathered in Heroes Square this morning to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the two World Wars.

Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave and Prime Minister Freundel Stuart were among those laying wreaths at the foot of the Cenotaph.

Eleven detachments of smartly-attired armed and unarmed uniformed groups were out on parade. (YB)
