THE PRIDE and industry were evident in the Barbados cricketers yesterday at Kensington Oval.

But while this isn’t a wanton boast, the Bajan boys are in need of quick runs and plenty of time on the final day today to push for an outright victory against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, in this second round regional WICB Professional Cricket League first-class match.

Barbados Pride ended the penultimate day on 171 for three off 52 overs in their second innings – an overall lead of 225 runs.

They will be looking to first innings century-maker Shamarh Brooks, who is not out on 51 and Roston Chase on four, to score freely within the first hour to set the visitors a target of at least 275 runs.
