THE 2015 BARBADOS Food, Wine and Rum Festival got off to an exciting start in Oistins last night.
Under the watchful eyes of hundreds of locals and visitors and international and Bajan media, renowned international chef Marcus Samuelsson, homegrown chefs Henderson Butcher and Creig Greenidge and mixologists Jamal Bowen and Philip “Nova” Antoine impressed with their skills.
They got several nods and words of approval from those who were fortunate enough to get a sample of the food and drinks made primarily from local ingredients.
This is the sixth edition of the Food Wine and Rum Festival and it runs through Sunday. (YB)
