SAGICOR UWI are one win away from completing domestic cricket’s treble.

Yesterday, they romped into the final of the Sagicor Super Cup 50-over competition after completing a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Brathwaite Construction/Crane Resort St Catherine in a one-sided semi-final.

St Catherine, who were invited to bat in cloudy conditions, suffered a startling collapse to lose their last eight wickets in 15 overs for only 32 runs, tumbling from 83 for two to 118 all out in 36.4 overs.

In reply, UWI stormed to 119 for four off 24.2 overs. Having already captured the Sagicor Twenty20 and Elite Division titles, UWI kept hopes of a second “triple crown” alive.
