Second Ruby shooting victim dies

POLICEĀ ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding a second shooting death which occurred in Ruby, St Philip on Independence Day.

Thirty-four-year-old Shane Nurse of Ruby Tenantry was involved in verbal dispute with an unknown assailant when he was shot multiple times around 6:55 p.m.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by a private vehicle and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Earlier in the afternoon, Dwayne Burgess of Marley Vale, St Philip was shot and killed on Ruby Main Road.Ā (PR/NB)
