Early wins for Curaçao and USVI

CURAÇAO AND UNITED STATES Virgin Islands were the early winners when the 10th CAZOVA Junior Volleyball tournament got underway today at the Wildey Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.

In Group A action, Curaçao men defeated Aruba 25-19, 25-21, 25-14 in the opening match.

United States Virgin Islands joined them with a victory in the same group, beating Guadeloupe 26-24, 27-25, 25-22.

Defending men’s champions Barbados will open their account against arch-rivals Trinidad and Tobago at 8 p.m. (SAT)
