Two in a row for Bajan men in volleyball

THE BARBADOS MEN’S volleyball team won their second match as the 10th CAZOVA Junior Championships continued at the Wildey Gym tonight, defeating Haiti 25-17, 25-11, 25-12. 

Haiti had an early lead but the men quickly got their act together, dominating the rest of the match with their sharp spikes and solid defence.

Tomorrow at the same venue, the Barbados women will be looking to rebound from the opening night lost to Haiti when they come up against Trinidad and Tobago at 6 p.m.

The men will be going for their third win in a row when they take on Martinique at 8 p.m.

Men: Trinidad and Tobago defeated Martinique 25-12, 18-25, 25-15, 15-11

Women: Curacao def. Guadeloupe 25- 27, 25-16, 25-11, 16-25, 15-12

Women: United States Virgin Islands def. Martinique 22-25, 25-8, 25-7, 25-7

Women: Haiti def. Trinidad and Tobago25-23, 25-18, 25-16 (RG)
