FORMER Member of Parliament Dr William Duguid has confirmed that he is seriously considering returning to the Christ Church West constituency.

However, he told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday that his decision would be based on input from his wife and two children.

“I will discuss it with my family over the Christmas holidays and one way or the other I will let the public know my decision in the new year,” he said.

Duguid, a dentist who now spends his time between Barbados and Canada, revealed that he was being bombarded with calls from members of the constituency branch of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) to return to elective politics. However, he said he had not received any request from the hierarchy of the BLP, whose national council expelled his successor as MP, Dr Maria Agard, from the party last month.
