BARBADOS Labour Party (BLP) stalwarts were on duty Monday night as they celebrated the season at the Opposition Leader’s annual Christmas party at the Plantation Theatre.
As she welcomed members to the party, Opposition Leader Mia Mottley made special note of the presence of what she deemed as members from the “Tom Adams Golden Era”.
“I want to thank all of you that have come out, but allow me to please recognise the former leader of this party, Sir Henry Forde, who was responsible for bringing many of us to public life,” Mottley said.
She went on to mention other veterans like Dame Billie Miller, Sir Louis Tull and Sir Richard Cheltenham, who were in attendance at the Christ Church venue.
