Rouse, who led a small group of dissatisfied St Joseph residents in a protest march against the Barbados Water Authority, felt more people should have come out in support.
“Quite frankly, no, I am not pleased with the turnout because for the amount of people in this catchment area we should have had a bigger turnout.
“But this morning the people are saying the water back on, so hey . . . .” He said the residents’ attitude smacked of complacency.
He said it appeared residents were so happy to get back running water on Thursday after 23 days without it, that “they like they tend to feel ‘oh it back on so no need’.”
