BOARDWALK ROBBER, Trevor Anthony Agard, donned a black T-shirt bearing the word “respect” emblazoned with a figure of a man bowing in respect, but a magistrate yesterday found his actions last Monday night were quite to the contrary.
Now the “regular visitor to the courts” has the next 36 months to reflect on his law-breaking conduct and clean up a drug problem which, he said, contributed to his decision to attack two tourists.
The 53-year-old, of no fixed place of abode, appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court No. 1 and did not hesitate when he pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding British visitors Jena Elhusainie and assaulting her daughter, Dana Chowdhry, causing her actual bodily harm on January 11.
He also admitted to robbing Elhusainie of a handbag worth $124.77, a camera valued at $750, $480 in local currency and £350 on the same day.
