30 ducks gone

VANISHED without a trace!

The pond at Codrington College, St John, has been a popular attraction over the years with its fish, lily pads and ducks, but college principal Reverend Michael Clarke reported yesterday that its 30-strong flock of ducks have gone missing.

Speaking to the MIDWEEKNATION, Clarke said he didn’t think the ducks had just “waddled” away, but believed that someone had perhaps taken them from the religious facility.

In addition to this, he explained that the pond was in dire need of dredging as silt had piled onto its floor and had reduced the depth to less than a foot in some places.
