Five hurt in accident

FIVE PEOPLE, including an elderly bicyclist, were injured in an accident that also involved a route taxi and a motorcyclist along Tudor Bridge, St Michael, yesterday afternoon.

An eyewitness told the Weekend Nation the driver of the route taxi was about to turn into one of the roads off Tudor Bridge when the accident occurred between his vehicle and the motorcycle. The witness further said the cyclist then lost control of his bike.

“[The motorcyclist] was trying to balance back out himself and in that process then he lost control . . . and end up [colliding with] three pedestrians . . . . He motorcycle slide from under he and pelt he off,” she said.
