FOR THE SECOND TIME in three years, Barbados Pride and defending champions Trinidad and Tobago Red Force will clash for the Nagico Super50 crown in a rematch of the 2014 final.

Led by Sulieman Benn’s four wickets for 26 runs, the Bajans secured their passage to tomorrow’s final with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over the Windward Islands Volcanoes in the second semi-final at Queen’s Park Oval yesterday.

The Red Force, who were runners up to the Pride in 2014, secured their place in the final with a 54-run win over Guyana Jaguars.

The Volcanoes, who opted to bat first, were eventually dismissed for 175 before the Pride replied with 179 for three off 44.3 overs, with Kraigg Brathwaite leading the way with an unbeaten 80 off 120 balls which included nine fours.
