Busy lighting up the skies

FIREWORKS OFTEN play a big part in celebrations, as at New Year and the recent launch of the 50th Independence anniversary celebrations.

They can be fun, but carry danger at the same time, as they are explosives after all. Without proper supervision people can get hurt.

That is where a fireworks display company like Fireworks FX comes in. It is based in Canada but has a branch here called Caribe Fire FX, which exploys local crews.

“We’ve done around 16 or 17 shows for this New Year’s alone with our first show being in 2006,” said FX show designer George Wade.
