Cops called to stop lawless ZR drivers
MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND WORKS Michael Lashley has called for the Royal Barbados Police Force to step up action against rowdy ZR drivers.
Lashley said traffic regulations were there to be followed but the problem was enforcement of the rules.
One of the rules included the wearing of uniforms by public service vehicle workers. In this connection, the minister reported that several ZR workers were now wearing the uniforms.
He pointed out: “We’re probably going to have to work closer with members of the Royal Barbados Police Force to ensure that there is adherence to the road traffic rules and that there is some level of respect.” (TG)
