THE ANGLICAN CHURCH in Barbados is gearing up for a major revival.

Starting Sunday with the annual Diocesan Service at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, the church headed by Bishop Dr John Holder will roll out its Strategic Plan for 2016 to 2019.

Speaking at a Press conference at Mandeville House this morning, Holder described the plan as “exciting” and said he hoped it will make a difference.

One of the objectives of the plan is to have a set of approaches to help unify and strengthen the local diocese. A national consultation, a total rebranding of the church and a revitalisation of the Sunday schools and youth ministries are some of the programmes falling under the strategic plan. (YB)
