Tribunal reserves NCC ruling
THE Employment Rights Tribunal has reserved judgement in the unfair dismissal case bought by retrenched National Conservation Commission (NCC) workers.
The hearing was adjourned after attorneys representing some of the affected employees and the employers ended closing arguments Tuesday in a sitting that began after 1 p.m and ended after 5 p.m.
Chairman Hal Gollop said the matter would require careful consideration before making a decision and the written judgement would be made publicly.
Leading off the final day was Pat Cheltenham QC, on behalf of the dismissed workers. He presented both oral and written arguments to support his claim of unfair dismissal.
