Man charged in connection with theft of car from valet

A MAN IS expected to appear in court today charged in relation to the theft of a car from Detail Car Valet last month.

Forty-year-old Dane Rene Ellis of no fixed place of abode was arrested and formally charged with the offence of handling stolen property.

The car was stolen sometime between the January 5 and 6, from the Peronne Village, Worthing, Christ Church business.

In unrelated cases, Ellis was also charged with two counts of burglary for offences which occurred in October and December 2015 and one count of theft which occurred last August. (PR/NB)
