COLERIDGE AND PARRY SCHOOL’S seventh annual Career Day showcase is presently underway at their Ashton Hall, St Peter home.

The third year students received advice from business professionals across the island, the majority of whom are old scholars.

Principal Vincent Fergusson, also an old scholar, said the essence of the activity was to pave the way for third year students to chart the course for their career path.

“When I was at school, we had limited exposure to career choices or guidance as to what career path to choose. With this activity we give third year students the opportunity to forge in their minds what career they may want to pursue which gives them guidance as to what subjects would be ideal to pursue in their fourth year,” he said.

Professionals in education, journalism, music, engineering, the Police Force, project management, hospitality and medicine spoke to the students. (RA)
