PRESIDENT OF THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB), Lisa Padmore, is encouraging all working professionals – including the 864 accountants who are members of ICAB – to pay their taxes.

“ICAB’s position has been and continues to be that all persons – professionals or otherwise – should file their tax returns and if they have obligations they should settle them,” said Padmore as she acknowledged that some people might have difficulties in settling their debts.

Padmore also urged the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) and taxpayers to find common ground.
