JOCKEY Damario Bynoe made the most of a golden opportunity astride  Lucky Adventure to win the featured Bentom Handicap over 1 570 metres on a firm track at the Garrison Savannah yesterday.

The H and M-owned gelding by Looking At Lucky out of Final Discount was given the perfect ride by Bynoe, who got the last-minute call to ride after regular jockey Kyle Carter booked off.

Carter was one of four jockeys to have booked off their respective mounts – the others being Jalon Samuel, Nirone Austin and Antonio Whitehall.

Bynoe, who is due to head back to Northlands Park shortly, put the Boston John-trained Lucky Adventure straight to the lead in the race for four-year-old-and older horses rated 110-92 and lower.

Favourite Dazzlin David left the gates pulling hard, but was restrained by jockey Anderson Trotman to settle off the leader. (LY)
