It is all systems go for Agrofest 2016 – Grow, Sell, Eat, Repeat.

All around Queen’s Park and beyond, at next door Weymouth, exhibitors were setting up stalls and making sure all was in order as inspectors traversed the area making the necessary checks.

Yesterday evening cows and rabbits were getting accustomed to their new stalls for the next three days.

Also, technicians were setting up their systems and labourers were placing tents and constructing barriers and in one corner, members of the St George Secondary School were preparing the ground for their edible landscape project.

Exhibits co-ordinator Saunjean Cutting was pleased with the progress. She said everything would be ready for the 10 a.m. start today, adding it would be open to the entire public and not just schoolchildren. (CA)
