A ST JAMES community was left in shock yesterday after the suspected drowning of one of their own.

There was virtually no one in Mount Standfast who had a bad word to say about Mervin Bovell.

The body of the  34-year-old, of Yearwood Road, Mount Standfast, was recovered from the sea off Glitter Bay  in the same parish  around 8 a.m. yesterday, police reported.

Within minutes,  news of his death spread quickly through the small community and left neighbours stunned by his sudden passing.
