Left in the dust

PEOPLE LIVING in Hope Road and Northumberland in St Lucy are up to their necks in dust, and are begging for some relief.

A water mains replacement project being undertaken by  Infra Construction on behalf of the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) that began before Christmas is still to be completed and residents say they see no end in sight.

In Hope Road, half of the road which leads to Northumberland is uneven and difficult for motorists to manoeuvre.

One resident, who requested anonymity, said it was about time the roadworks were completed.
