A final race battle between eventual winner Allan Kinch and Sulieman Esuf left everyone on the edge of their seat as it came down to the last corner of the last lap before the winner was decided.

It all unfolded under sunny skies at the Bushy Park Racing Circuit as the Barbados Karting Association’s 2016 Chefette Frutee Championship continued last weekend.

The second round was sponsored by Crane & Equipment Ltd and in the Easykart 125cc Light, Kinch was the leader after practice and qualifying with the fastest time.

But it was the final race of the class that left tongues wagging as Kinch and Esuf traded places and carved their way through the back markers in a thrilling battle for first place.
