Man swallows more than 100 packets of cannabis

A 44-YEAR-OLD MAN who swallowed more than 100 packets of cannabis is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

According to the police, members of the Drug Squad have formally charged Jamaican national Louis Anthony Ricketts with possession of 2.5 pounds of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.

He arrived by air from Jamaica last Sunday and was interviewed by Police. 

He was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he passed 123 packages of cannabis he had ingested. 

Ricketts is to appear at the District B Magistrates Court on Monday. (PR/SAT)
